Allene M. DeWilde, 90, of Perryville, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 27, 1909, at Perryville, daughter of Maurice and Justine Rollet Guyot. She and Frank A. DeWilde were married May 1, 1929, at East Moline, Ill. He died Oct. 24, 1992.
DeWilde was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include five sons, Albert DeWilde, Richard DeWilde and Stephen DeWilde, all of Perryville, David DeWilde of Amesbury, Mass., and Daniel DeWilde of Waterloo, Ill.; five daughters, Velma Fortney of Festus, Irma Pratte, Rita Guenther and Marge Benhoff, all of St. Louis, and Grace Meyer of Springfield, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and A stepgreat-great-grandchild .
She was preceded in death by A daughter, two brothers and a grandchild.
A wake service will be held at 7 o'clock tonight, and a rosary will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Revs. Kevin P. Fausz and Richard Lause will officiate, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
