Allen Martin Krueger, 88 years of age of Cape Girardeau, Mo. passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 1998 at Southeast Hospital. He was born Oct. 11, 1910 in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the son of the late Frederick & Johanna Lowes Krueger.
Mr. Krueger was self-employed as a carpenter, builder and farmer. He lived in St. Louis, Mo. between 1930 and 1972 when he moved to Cape Girardeau. He married the former Frieda C. Meyer on Sept. 8, 1940 in St. Louis County.
He was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, Mo. where he was baptized and confirmed.
Survivors include his wife, Frieda C. Krueger of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard A. and Patricia A. Krueger of Cape Girardeau, Mo. ; two grandchildren, Laura D. James and Richard A. Krueger Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Dawn Hobbs and Michael Colegate; two Godsons, Elroy F. Kinder and Lee Strack; and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998 at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998 at Hanover Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeffrey Sippy officiating with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family requests memorials be made to the Old Hanover Lutheran Church Fund.
