Alleene Mowery, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Chateau Girardeau. She was born July 14, 1911, daughter of Samuel and Delpha Ann Dillard Littlejohn. She married Harley "Raymond" Mowery Aug. 22, 1928, in Waterloo, Ill. He died July 15, 1987...

Alleene Mowery, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Chateau Girardeau.

She was born July 14, 1911, daughter of Samuel and Delpha Ann Dillard Littlejohn. She married Harley "Raymond" Mowery Aug. 22, 1928, in Waterloo, Ill. He died July 15, 1987.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Kathy Stephens, Ellen Lauricella, Dale and Sue Mowery, and LaVern Anderson.

Friends may call Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Pete Vinson officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
