ANNA, Ill. -- Allane McLaren, 79, of Anna, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 18, 1914, in Benton, daughter of Aud Elmer and Ethel May Leonard Nance. She married Paul McLaren in 1932, who preceded her in death in 1971...

ANNA, Ill. -- Allane McLaren, 79, of Anna, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 18, 1914, in Benton, daughter of Aud Elmer and Ethel May Leonard Nance. She married Paul McLaren in 1932, who preceded her in death in 1971.

McLaren was a member of Anna Church of God.

Survivors include two sons, Rev. Donald McLaren of Green Bay, Wis., Rev. Jack McLaren of Macedonia; a daughter, Linda Murray of Cobden; a sister, Rosabelle Mitchell of Valier; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna, with Revs. Donald and Jack McLaren officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. today.
