Aline G. "Dolly" Dankel, 84, 1059 Patricia, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1991, at Chateau Girardeau Health Care Center. She was born Nov. 10, 1906, at Glen Allen, daughter of William and Vena Pobst Proctor. She married Folla Dankel Oct. 16, 1928, at Jackson. He died Aug. 20, 1979...

Aline G. "Dolly" Dankel, 84, 1059 Patricia, died Wednesday, Sept. 25, 1991, at Chateau Girardeau Health Care Center.

She was born Nov. 10, 1906, at Glen Allen, daughter of William and Vena Pobst Proctor. She married Folla Dankel Oct. 16, 1928, at Jackson. He died Aug. 20, 1979.

Dankel received a nursing degree from Three Rivers Community College. She retired from St. Francis Medical Center after 16 years of service. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and its Friendship Circle.

Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Abernathy of Atlanta, Ga., Shirley Harrison of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Pearl Williams of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. James Caughlan will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
