GRASSY, Mo. -- Alice May McMath, 68, of Grassy died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 19, 1937, in Indio, Calif., daughter of Doyle F. and Minnie M. Ramsey Vesterby. She and J.D. Estes were married Dec. 18, 1952. He preceded her in death. She and Hobart McMath were married Oct. 17, 1985. He died Nov. 29, 2002.
McMath had been a machine operator at Marble Hill Hat Co.
Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey Estes of Baghdad, Iraq, Steve Estes of Grassy; a daughter, Kathleen Green of Silva, Mo.; a brother, Royn "Curley" Vesterby of Desloge, Mo.; two sisters, Edna Pattie of Glenallen, Mo., Rose Ann Vesterby of Marble Hill, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a child and a brother.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. today at Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating.
Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
