ANNA, Ill. -- Alice McLerran, 67, of Lee's Summit, Mo., died Thursday, Nov. 16, 2000, at Liberty Terrace Care Center in Liberty, Mo.
She was born April 14, 1933, in Anna, daughter of James and Iva Griffith Sims. She married Russell McLerran.
McLerran retired as a certified nurse assistant at a retirement center. She was a member of Southland Baptist Church in Belton, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son, William Keller of Shelburn, Ind.; a daughter, Kay Sumpter of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; five sisters, Mable Butler, Lela McClure and Mildred Fuller of Anna, Ruby Davies of Pendleton, Ore., Reba Mayberry of Creston, Ohio; three brothers, Charles Sims of Carbondale, Ill., Robert Housman of Chesterton, Ind., Claude Dillow Jr. of Little Rock, Ark.; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerald Berry officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
