CHARLESTON -- Alice Cooper, 70, of Charleston, died Sunday, June 30, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Dec. 25, 1925, in the state of Mississippi. She married John Solomon Cooper, who preceded her in death.
Cooper was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, John Thomas Cooper of Charleston; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Phil Nuernberger officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
