Alice Leoma Burger, 54, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Nov. 1, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Leo and Leema Benton Harris. She and Lester Burger were married Aug. 7, 1976, in Cape Girardeau.

Burger lived in Cape Girardeau all her life.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, James and Eddie Harris and Thomas Burns, all of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Sharon Ayers of Lancaster, Texas, Carolyn Dodds of Whitewater, Mary Criddle of Cape Girardeau, Betty Suttles of Dayton, Ohio; three stepbrothers, Lester Burger III of Cape Girardeau, Thomas Burger of Texas, Keith Cline of Arizona; and a stepsister, Debbie Lyerla of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Henson officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
