PERKINS -- Alfrieda Dirnberger, 73, of Perkins, died Wednesday, July 28, 1993, at her home.
She was born July 25, 1920, in St. Louis, daughter of Henry Thomas and Mable Creed Bumgardaner. She and Elmer Dirnberger were married Dec. 29, 1984. He died Nov. 20, 1988.
Dirnberger was a retired licensed practical nurse at Chaffee General Hospital in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church at New Hamburg, and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Steve Calliotte of Perkins; a daughter, Shirley Driskill of Perkins; two sisters, Alberta Thurston of Kalamazoo, Mich., Marcia Roberts of Oran, and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The Rev. Amel Shibley will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 7, conducted by the Rev. Robert Francis.
