CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Alfred Franklin Brown of Chaffee will be held at 11 a.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Dennis Breland will officiate, with burial in Bell City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until service time.

Brown, 81, died Thursday, June 17, 1993, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

He was born Jan. 24, 1912, at Aquilla, son of Burt and Minnie Hallman Brown.

Brown was retired from Brown Shoe Co. of East Prairie.

Survivors include a sister, Annie Hubbard of Bell City.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
