Funeral service for Aleen Vogel Wehking, 1566 Grandview, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Steven MacDougall will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Wehking, 88, died Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, at her home.
She was born April 23, 1907, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Henry and Emma Kempe Vogel. She and Walter John Wehking were married Nov. 10, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died May 24, 1972.
Wehking taught school for a short time in Steele, and was a partner in Co-op Drug from 1935-36. She was a member of Trinity Church, Quest Club and River Hills Garden Club.
Survivors include four nephews, Charles Wehking, Charles Wehking III, William Ellerman, all of St. Louis County, Edward Beckemeier of Bernardsville, N.J., Daniel Beckemeier of St. Louis; four nieces, Dorothy Hartling of Chesterfield, Ruth Mawdsley of Oklahoma City, Okla., Lois Rauss of Hermann, and Charleen Byers of St. Louis County.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
