CHARLESTON -- Albirta Harrison, 64, of Charleston, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.
She was born Oct. 17, 1908, in Pace, Miss., daughter of Bud and Ellen Jimmerson.
Harrison was a member of Perry Chapel AME Church, served on the Stewardess Board and was a former church treasurer.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Tatum of Peoria, Ill., Carl Harrison of Charleston; a daughter, Erma Harrison of Charleston; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Perry Chapel Church. The Rev. Joe Travis will officiate, with burial in Sunset of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. today.
