ANNA, Ill. —Alberta Craig, 94, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Anna, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Four Fountains Convalescent Center in Belleville. She was born April 19, 1914, in Sparta, Ill., daughter of Thomas H. and Mary R. Bicket Wilson. She and Roy B. Craig were married July 21, 1939. He died March 23, 1993...

ANNA, Ill. —Alberta Craig, 94, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Anna, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Four Fountains Convalescent Center in Belleville.

She was born April 19, 1914, in Sparta, Ill., daughter of Thomas H. and Mary R. Bicket Wilson. She and Roy B. Craig were married July 21, 1939. He died March 23, 1993.

Craig was a member of the United Methodist Church of Anna, United Methodist Women and Homemakers Sunday school class.

Survivors include a son, Paul Craig of Belleville; a sister, Margie Elwyn of Sparta, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Jackie Causey officiating. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery.
