JACKSON -- Funeral service for Albert J. Heise of Jackson will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. David Dissen will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Heise, 91, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1994, at Jackson Manor.
He was born June 27, 1903, in Egypt Mills, son of Albert F. and Louise C. Baker Heise. He and Amanda M. Schenimann were married April 15, 1925, at Egypt Mills. She died Feb. 19, 1982.
Heise was a warehouseman 14 years at Myer-Albert Grocery Store, worked 14 years at Ralph Edwards Sportswear, and then farmed. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Marvin Heise of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; a daughter, Irene Myer of Jackson; three brothers, Elmer and Melvin Heise of Cape Girardeau, Lawrence Heise of Oak Ridge; a sister, Alma Ervin of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
