CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Albert H. Strack, 89 years old, of Fountainbleau Lodge, 2001 N. Kingshighway, died Friday, Feb. 15, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born March 17, 1901 in Cape Girardeau County, son of Anton and Anna Lowes Strack.
He had been a cattle farmer in the Egypt Mills community, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Egypt Mills Trinity Lutheran Church and had attended the Kage School in Cape Girardeau.
He married Hilda Borgfield on Feb. 10, 1929 in Jackson. She died Dec. 24, 1982.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Strack and Jerry Strack, both of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Emil Strack, Lebanon, Ill.; six grandchildren, Alan Strack, Apopka, Fla., Capt. Jay Strack, Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, Tammy Slinkard, Knoxville, Tenn., and JoWayne Strack, Vicky Strack and Jeffrey Strack, all of Cape Girardeau; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Helmuth Sylvester, pastor of Egypt Mills Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Hanover Lutheran Church Cemetery.
