MARBLE HILL -- Albert Elledge, 84, of Lake Bluff, Ill., formerly of Marble Hill, died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1992, at the VA Hospital in North Chicago.
He was born Sept. 22, 1908, at Lutesville, son of Charley and Elmine Rogers Elledge. He and Ruby Beatrice Schrader were married Aug. 10, 1940. She died Nov. 29, 1985.
Elledge was a retired electrician. He was a member of Lutesville General Baptist Church, and veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a daughter, Jeanette Earls of Lake Bluff; three brothers, Rev. Clarence Elledge of Marble Hill, Irvin Elledge of Edwardsville, Ill., Sam Elledge of St. Louis; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Norman Elledge, a nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
