FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Albert C. "Al" Banes, 71, of Fredericktown died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown. He was born Oct. 14, 1929, in St. Louis, son of J.W. and Eunice Banes. Survivors include his wife, Melba; four daughters, Kathie Quade of Jackson, Mo., Patricia Leslie of Loveland, Colo., Gail Davis of Louisville, Tenn., Laura Duncan of Fredericktown; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren...

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Albert C. "Al" Banes, 71, of Fredericktown died Sunday, April 15, 2001, at Madison Memorial Hospital in Fredericktown.

He was born Oct. 14, 1929, in St. Louis, son of J.W. and Eunice Banes.

Survivors include his wife, Melba; four daughters, Kathie Quade of Jackson, Mo., Patricia Leslie of Loveland, Colo., Gail Davis of Louisville, Tenn., Laura Duncan of Fredericktown; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Follis and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Reed will officiate. Burial will be in Christian Cemetery.
