ALBERT A FEE

MARBLE HILL -- Albert A. Fee, 83, of Marble Hill died Monday, April 19, 1999, at his home.

He was born Feb. 14, 1916, at Cape Girardeau, son of Ira and Nevada Gaines Fee. He first married Pauline Hans. He and Idella Dinkens Dodds were married April 27, 1971.

Survivors include his wife of Marble Hill; a daughter, Donna Gillentine of Fulton, Miss.; three stepsons, Herald Dodds Jr. and Charles David Dodds, both of Cape Girardeau, Richard Lee Dodds of Marble Hill; three stepdaughters, Gloria Winkler of Liberal, Kan., Sarah Anderson of Glen Allen, Phyllis Ann Dodds of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Lawrence Fee of Cape Girardeau and Ronald Fee of Jefferson City; a sister, Laverne Griffaw of Cape Girardeau; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and five brothers.

Fee was of the Lutheran faith and had retired as captain in the U.S. Army. He served during World War II and received a Bronze Star and other citations.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, with full military honors by a detachment from Fort Leonard Wood.
