Alan Ray Westrich, 56, of Oak Ridge died Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at his home.
He was born March 23, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, the son of Quentin Stephen and Barbara Jean Spies Westrich. He married Susan Marie Wright on Feb. 7, 2003, in Benton, Missouri.
Alan worked as a laminator at Mondi in Jackson. He was of the Catholic faith. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Susan; three sons, Dustan (Isabelle) Westrich of Oahu, Hawaii, Sean Westrich of Cape Girardeau and Landry (Leslie Palmer) Westrich of St. Louis; two stepsons, Dillon Diebold of Cape Girardeau and Gavin Farrow of Chicago; two daughters, Brianna (Devon) McPherson of St. Louis and Lauren Westrich of Oak Ridge; three brothers, Curtis Westrich, Quentin Paul (Angie) Westrich and Bruce (Sonja) Westrich, all of Chaffee; two sisters, Gina (Jim) Gooch of Sikeston, Missouri, and Gail (Tim Schlosser) Rockett of Scott City; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Missouri, with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
