SIKESTON -- Aileen Beal, 78, of Sikeston died Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born June 16, 1921, in Thaxton, Miss., daughter of Gaston and Bessie Russell McCoy. She and James F. Beal Jr. were married March 29, 1941. He preceded her in death.
Beal worked 19 1/2 years for the C.F. McMullin Estate, and worked for Bucher and McCann, CPAs, seven and a half years.
She moved to Jennings, La., in 1965 and worked for Rowe Oldsmobile Agency. She returned to Sikeston in 1990. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Larry Beal of Dubai, United Arab Emirates; a sister, Pansie Poe of Sikeston; a half brother, Jerry McCoy of Columbia, Tenn.; a stepbrother, Emory Taylor of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a half brother.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with Dr. Jim Davis and the Revs. Sandra Schaller and Gerald Doggett officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
