AGNES LAURA KOENIG

FARRAR -- Agnes Laura Koenig, 90, of Farrar died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, at her home.

She was born April 30, 1907, at Farrar, daughter of Ernest and Magdalena Roth Koenig.

She married Martin Herman Claus Koenig on Sept. 27, 1931. He died on Feb. 17, 1987.

She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar.

Survivors include a son, Delmar Koenig of New Wells; a daughter, Leola Scholl of Jackson; a brother, Alfred Koenig of Farrar; a sister, Emma Steffens of Altenburg; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville from 5-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday from 6:30-9 a.m.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Schneider will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
