AGNES FOLLOWELL

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Funeral for Agnes Followell of Bloomfield will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.

Followell, 97, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was born Oct. 21, 1903, at Bloomfield, daughter of Charles and Eva Stevens Hester. She married Earl W. Followell, who died Sept. 15, 1978.

Followell had been a seamstress at Elder Manufacturing. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, Wilborn Followell of Henderson, Ky.; two brothers, Ralph and Carl Hester of Bloomfield; a sister, Ruth Munday of St. Peters, Mo.; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three daughters, two brothers, a sister, and two grandchildren.
