Agnes D. Ligon, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, June 32, 1993, at the Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born April 10, 1902, daughter of Joseph and Anna Rehak.
On Nov. 7, 1927, she married Carson Ligon at St. Louis. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1985.
She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral, St. Ann Sodality and Daughters of Isabella. She was a lifetime member of St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1945, from Webster Groves.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy East of Cape Girardeau; sister, Julia Kaluza of Ballwin, Mo.; four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six sisters.
Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Father Glenn Eftink officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, from 4 to 8 p.m.
A Daughters of Isabella service will be held at the funeral home today at 6:30 p.m., and Parish Prayers will be conducted at the funeral home at 7 p.m. today.
