MARBLE HILL -- Agabus P. Carlton, 90, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 1, 1903, near Greenbrier, Mo., son of Alfred T. and Eva Sylcox Carlton.
He married Florya Robins in 1928. She died May 10, 1982.
He worked as a carpenter.
He was of General Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Carlton of Marble Hill, Glenn Carlton of Glen Allen, Mo.; two daughters, Betty McDonald of White Lake, Mich., Wanda Hawke of Waterford, Mich.; a sister, Lottie Hoover of Advance; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the Baker Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Orville Myers officiating.
Burial will follow in Baker Cemetery near Marble Hill.
