A.G. Morris, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2006, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born May 30, 1917, in Chicago, daughter of William A. and Lula White Morris. She married Jessie Hike, who preceded her in death.
Morris moved to Cape Girardeau in 1991 from Sikeston, Mo. She had been a school cook and was a member of the Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Delores Longoria of Atlanta, Emma Robinson of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a sister, Johnnie Morris of Chicago; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three great-great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
