CHAFFEE -- Adella Ann Trost, 74, of Chaffee, died Sunday, Dec. 6, 1992, at her home.
She was born Feb. 21, 1918, near Oran, daughter of Theodore Martin and Bernedine Elizabeth Eftink Kiefer. She married Buford Boniface Trost Oct. 12, 1943. He died Feb. 4, 1964.
Trost was a sewing machine operator at Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee, retiring in August 1983. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Arthur Trost of Arnold; three daughters, Delores Nation and Margaret Nation of Chaffee, Virginia Vessels of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two brothers, Theodore Kieffer of O'Fallon, Paul Kiefer of New Hamburg; four sisters, Ethel Massmann of High Ridge, Rita Hinkebein of Hazelwood, Sister Jane Kiefer of Cape Girardeau, Sister Helen Kiefer of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, sister and grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Allan Saunders will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 8.
