CAIRO, Ill. -- Adelaide Beadles, 81, of Benton, Ky., formerly of Cairo, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996, at Riverfront Health Care Facility in Paducah, Ky. She was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Independence, Mo., daughter of Frederick and Madge Zimmerman Wheeler. She married Robert A. Beadles, who died in 1989...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Adelaide Beadles, 81, of Benton, Ky., formerly of Cairo, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1996, at Riverfront Health Care Facility in Paducah, Ky.

She was born Jan. 13, 1915, in Independence, Mo., daughter of Frederick and Madge Zimmerman Wheeler. She married Robert A. Beadles, who died in 1989.

Beadles was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cairo.

Survivors include a son, Robert Beadles of Lovelaceville, Ky.; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Dr. Larry L. Potts officiating. Burial will be in Blandville Hillcrest Cemetery in Blandville, Ky.
