CAIRO, Ill. -- Graveside service for Adeby Coury of Ventura, Calif., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating.

Barkett Funeral Home here is in charge of arrangements.

Coury, 85, died Saturday, July 31, 1993, at her home.

Formerly of Cairo, she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and the Philoptochos Society. She was a retired private duty nurse.

She married Haleem Coury, who died in 1964.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Barker of Ventura; three sons, Haleem Coury of Cheshire, Conn., Leonard Coury of Granite City, Richard Coury of San Francisco, Calif.; 17 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons.
