Adam Richard Hoss, 42, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023, at his home.
He was born Feb. 9, 1981, in St. Charles, Missouri, son of Richard and Lisa Ann Peters Hoss.
He graduated in 2000 from St. Charles High School. Adam moved to Jackson in 2008. He was a dedicated bowler, bowling and working for St. Charles Lanes and Jackson Bowling Lanes. Adam also worked for J.P. Sides Mazda, formerly Benning Mazda in Cape Girardeau.
He and Susanna Luttrell were married Sept. 12, 2009, and they welcomed three children. Adam was a dedicated father and very active in his children's sporting activities, coaching teams and cheering them on from the sidelines. He was a member at Connection Point Church.
Adam is survived by his wife, Susanna Hoss; three children, Kylie, Hailey and Joseph of Jackson; two siblings, Erik (Heather) Hoss of Union, Missouri, and Lindsay (Eric) Hankins of Stanton, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Steven (Amy) Luttrell of Prattville, Alabama, and Michael Luttrell of Jackson; and mother-in-law, Penny Luttrell of Jackson.
Also surviving are three nieces, four nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hoss; mother, Lisa Ory; stepfather, Greg Ory; and father-in-law, Steven "Randy" Luttrell.
A celebration of life will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 11, at Connection Point Church in Jackson, with Pastor Kevin Mann leading in prayer.
A second celebration of life will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at the Elks Lodge, 560 St. Peters Howell Road, in St. Charles.
