Adajane Davis, 80, of Scott City died Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 22, 1934, in Cape Girardeau, to John and Earmel Hartle Schlenker. She married Billy E. Davis on July 18, 1953.
She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. She had worked as city collector for Scott City.
Survivors include her husband of Scott City; a daughter and son-in-law, Dixie and Danny Thompson of Scott City; a grandson, Brent (Bridgette) Whittington of Scott City; two granddaughters, Morgan and Sierra Thompson of Patton, Missouri, and four great-grandchildren, Keegan, Zaeven, Karmen and Ashlynn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
