GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Ada B. Jones, 73, of Grand Chain, died Saturday, June 6, 1998, at Southgate Health Care Center in Metropolis.
She was born Sept. 6, 1925, in Dover, Tenn., daughter of Dossie and Orbia Bryant Baker.
She was a member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Metropolis.
She was married to Charley Nicholes. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Spencer of Kansas City; two brothers, the Rev. Leonard Baker of Grand Chain and Horace Baker of McCuen, Tenn.,; a sister, Dorothy West of Metropolis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, with the Rev. Kenneth Baker officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Cypress.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
