CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Everette "Abe" Snider, son of Alva Lee Snider and Mattie Ethel Wakefield, was born July 2, 1944, in La Grange, Missouri, and departed this life Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at his home in Chaffee at the age of 75 years.
Abe was a retired security guard for Wolsey Investigation and loved to play bingo and hang out with friends at the American Legion in Chaffee. Everett also had two other special facilities and friends at the Chaffee Nutrition Center and the ladies at Chaffee Banking Center.
On May 22, 1995, he was united in marriage to Mary Blackshear in Benton, Missouri. She preceded him in death May 11, 2015.
Survivors include daughters, Mary Moreno of Piedmont, Missouri, Ann (Mike) Hinkebein of Chaffee and Tina Aubuchon of St. Charles, Missouri; sons, Patrick Wyatt of Sturdivant, Missouri, and Dale Snider of O'Fallon, Missouri; six brothers and sisters; 34 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, David Snider, and by three siblings.
Abe's family would also like to show its appreciation to Chaffee Police Department, One Stop, Dollar Store, Food Giant, Hunts Brothers Pizza and his favorite barber and friend, Steve Wall, along with all of the good people who gave him a ride and their kindness.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
