NEW WELLS -- Aaron A. Wallman, 91, formerly of New Wells, died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, at Jackson Manor.
He was born Sept. 19, 1907, at New Wells, son of Henry and Emma Hoehl Wallman. He and Hilda Walther were married March 28, 1932, at Pocahontas.
Wallman lived on a farm east of Pocahontas from 1933 until moving to Jackson Manor three years ago.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Pocahontas and former trustee. He was a former county committeeman for FSA.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Ernst Wallman of Jackson; two daughters, Mildred Hoffman of New Wells, Verna Koenig of Farrar; a sister, Leona Koeppel of Jackson; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infant sons, two brothers, a sister, and a half sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, and Thursday after 10 a.m. at Zion Church.
Funeral will be at the church at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Howard Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
