OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Aaron Davis, 16, of Jonesboro, Ill., and Olive Branch, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at his home.
He was born Sept. 17, 1989, in Carbondale, Ill., son of Wesley Alan and Shavonna Wright Davis.
He previously attended Anna-Jonesboro Community High School in Anna, Ill., and was attending Egyptian High School since December 2005.
He was a member of the Future Farmers of America and enjoyed music and skateboarding.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Shavonna and John Shipley of Jonesboro; two brothers, Bobby Henderson of Olive Branch and Jonathan Meirndorf of Anna; a stepsister, Molley Shipley of Lick Creek, Ill.; maternal grandfather Wayne F. Wright of Thebes, Ill.; paternal grandmother Audrey Davis of Jonesboro; and paternal great-grandmother Wanda Goodman of Anna.
He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Raymond OxFord officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery.
