Members of the Young Doers 4-H Club met recently at the Riverside Regional Library.

Eleven club members, eight leaders and three guests were present. Jessica Winkler presided.

Pledges were led by Michelle Griffet and Becky Winkler.

In addition, a number of project meeting reports were presented. Those giving project reports were Landon Martin who discussed archery projects, Tara Parenteau who discussed clothing projects, Erin Prince who gave a report on bread projects and Dustin Winkler who gave a report on the club's rifle safety projects.

Jessica Winkler expressed her gratitude to the club for the fruit basket members sent following the death of her grandfather.

Winkler also announced two upcoming events -- the Missouri State Teen Council Feb. 25-26 and the Missouri Department of Conservation's Quail Academy in the spring.

Becky Winkler presented a discussion on health titled "Getting Healthier for the New Year" followed by demonstrations by Erin Prince on making beaded necklaces and Dustin Winkler on gun safety.

The meeting was preceded by a potluck family spaghetti dinner.
