The Young Doers 4-H Club have had a very busy Spring and Winter. Projects offered by the club this year include Visual Arts (crafts), Breads, Crochet, Photography, Foods, Woodworking, Vegetable Gardening, Aerospace, Geology, Home Environment, Clothing, Bowling, and Clover Kids. Along with their meetings, the club offers recreation and/or project workshops. Our new members this year are Jason Meier, Jessica and Corey Drum, & Krista and Nick Heise.

Our officers for this year are President: Erin Prince, Vice-President & Treasurer: Jessica Morrow, Son & Game Leader & Parliamentarian: Ryan Bollinger. The club agreed to participate in the development of and some of the retaking of the wetlands county-wide project. Jessica Morrow thanked the club for the nice card they sent during her illness. The club met Sunday, May 3rd, 1998, at the Riverside Regional Library in Jackson.

Jessica Morrow reviewed the May Cape County 4-H newsletter with the club. Members and their families signed up for times to work at the benefit rummage sale for Robin White, and our fundraiser garage sale June 5th & 6th.

Mrs. Prince brought several finished and unfinished craft items for the club to use and complete for fundraisers. A campout was planned for August, along with swimming, fishing, and cookouts. Members were reminded about Local Achievement Day on June 14th, which will include Good Grooming, Demonstrations, and Talks.

Ideas for craft projects were discussed. Prior to the meeting, members planted flowers in front of the Riverside Regional Library. The next meeting will be Sunday, June 14th, at 1 p.m. Riverside Regional Library. We usually meet the 2nd Sunday afternoon of each month.
