Work scheduled for I-55, Highway 51 this week

Part of I-55 down to one lane Monday

A section of northbound Interstate 55 in Scott County will be reduced to a single lane of traffic Monday while Missouri Department of Transportation crews make pavement repairs. Weather permitting, the work will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a section of road from Highway 77 at Benton, Mo., to U.S. 61 at Scott City.

Highway 51 shoulders to be repaired

A portion of Highway 51 in Bollinger and Perry counties will be reduced to a single lane of traffic this week while Missouri Department of Transportation crews make shoulder repairs. Weather permitting, the work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
