Plans for using a $5 million work force development grant will be the main subject at 7 a.m. Friday for the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce First Friday Coffee.
The Workforce Investment Board of Southeast Missouri will administer a federal grant to develop new approaches to enhancing the areas ability to build growth on new technology. Scott Stattler, manager of business and industry for the Workforce Investment Board, and Mitch Robinson, director of the Cape Area MAGNET economic development agency will be the join presenters Friday.
This month's First Friday coffee is sponsored by Coad Toyota and Cozmo's Coffee and Cream. First Friday is held at the Show Me Center on the Southeast Missouri State University campus.
