Samples of work by the River Valley Carvers Club will be exhibited at Gallery 100 beginning Monday and continuing through Aug. 1.
The exhibit will consist of wildlife miniatures, decoys, caricatures and Christmas items. A hand-carved carousel horse and a cigar-store Indian also will be in the display.
The club has more than 40 members who live in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.
A reception for the carvers will be held on the closing day of the exhibit, from 2-4 p.m. Aug. 1. Regular exhibit hours are 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The exhibit replaces a canceled show for former Jackson resident Ed Puls, who now lives in New York City.
That show was canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances," according to the gallery.
