SCOTT CITY -- An organizational meeting was held Dec. 10 in Scott City to forma Women of Today chapter.
Officers are jeannine Schuenemeyer, president; Becky Tapley, vice president; Lynda Heiserer, secretary, and Cyndi Coomer, treasurer.
Faye Worley and Valeria Klaproth explained the purpos of Women of Today: to provide leadership training and personal enrichment opportunities through community service.
Worley is president of Missouri Women of Today and she and Klaproth are both members of Farmington Women of Today.
Charter members include Cathy Littlepage, Debbie Philips, Rhonda Jones and the officers.
The next meeting is Jan. 21 at 1606 Hillemann Drive in scott City. All women at least 21 years old are invited to attend.
