Ms. A is 91 years old. She has high blood pressure and macular degeneration, which means her vision is limited to seeing only shapes. Her limited income goes to pay her bills and doesn't cover her other needs. She could really use a pair of plain lace-up shoes in size 8 and a clock-radio that lights up with large numbers. She would love to have an African violet plant to take care of. You can help Ms. A and other needy elderly people in our area by buying these needed items, including personal grooming and cleaning supplies, grocery gift cards and delivering them to The Southeast Missourian, 301 Broadway. Monetary donations can also be sent to Christmas For the Elderly, P.O. Box 4, Cape Girardeau, MO 63702. All elderly served are living independently on limited incomes with few, if any family members. They would greatly appreciate your sharing spirit.
