A St. Louis woman has filed a lawsuit against a well-known Sikeston, Missouri, restaurant.
Troy Tucker alleges she suffered "serious and permanent personal injuries" in September as a result of one of Lambert's famous "throwed rolls."
The personal-injury petition filed in the case claims Lambert's "knew or should have known that by throwing bread rolls at customers there was a possible risk of injury to diners" and alleges the restaurant failed to train its employees adequately on how to throw the rolls without posing a risk to diners.
Tucker claims she sustained a lacerated cornea with vitreous detachment, and her head, neck, eyes and vision were severely and permanently damaged, court documents show. She also claims the condition is progressive.
Tucker is seeking a judgment of at least $25,000 for medical bills that already have been incurred plus "future medical expenses in an amount yet to be determined."
No one at Lambert's was available for comment, and Tucker's lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.
