The woman told police she had been picked up by a person with whom she was well acquainted at a residence on the west side of the city before 11 p.m. After riding around in the car, the driver parked it at an apartment complex in the same general area, she said.

Sometime between 11:10 p.m. and 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, she said she was raped outside of the car, police said.
She reported the incident to police at 12:47 a.m.
