Tawny D. Divietro, 38, of VanDuser, Missouri, pleaded guilty Tuesday to burglary Nov. 4 in the 100 block of East Caroline Street in Morley, Missouri.
In the guilty plea, Divietro wrote she knowingly and unlawfully entered a building in the 100 block of East Caroline with the intent of stealing therein, and she possessed a screwdriver and flashlight, commonly used in forcible entry.
Scott County Sheriff's Department public information officer Dane Stausing said after Divietro's arrest a single female burglar was rare, especially in the middle of the day.
The Scott County prosecuting attorney's office recommended a suspended imposition of sentence and five years probation on the counts of burglary and possessing burglary tools.
The conditions of Divietro's parole, also filed Tuesday, include working toward the completion of a general-education diploma, attending an Impact of Crime on Victims Program, serving 48 hours in jail, taking medications prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner, having no contact with people possessing or using controlled substances, attending any treatment or counseling recommended by the probation officer, submitting to blood, breath or urine testing at the request of any officer and obtaining and maintaining verifiable full-time employment.
