POCAHONTAS -- A Jackson woman was seriously injured Tuesday night in a collision on Route C in Pocahontas.
Linda Mirley, 36, of Jackson was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital and later transferred to St. Francis Medical Center after the 7:10 p.m. accident.
She was listed in satisfactory condition Wednesday night.
Also injured in the accident was the driver of the other car, Lisa Marshall, 29, of Altenburg. She was taken to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries.
A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said Mirly drove from a stop sign into the path of Marshall's vehicle. Both women wore seat belts, the spokesman said.
