Knack was accused of throwing the kittens onto the pavement of Illinois Routes 147 and 146 on May 31.

"I've never had a case like this," Johnson County Assistant State's attorney Alan McIntyre said. "This is one of the most bizarre cases I've ever prosecuted."

Knack was sentenced to 12 months of probation, ordered to pay $700 in fines, court costs and probation fees and to serve 60 hours of public service work. Williamson also ordered Knack to undergo a psychological evaluation.
