KENNETT, Mo. -- A Kennett woman was cited by police following a traffic accident Tuesday morning, the Daily Dunklin Democrat reported. Police were dispatched to the intersection of First and Frisco Streets, where one of the people involved was reported to have left the scene. As officers arrived, the missing driver called the police department to let them know she had parked at a local business on First Street. Officers contacted the driver identified as Michelle Isenhour of Kennett. She was issued a summons for failure to yield the right of way and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Isenhour was transported to the Kennett Police Department for further questioning, and later to Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center for treatment. The investigation continues.
