KENNETT, Mo. -- A 21-year-old woman has been charged with first-degree robbery of a Family Dollar store in Kennett.

On Friday night, Courtney Smith of Kennett allegedly entered the store dressed as a man-- including a fake mustache -- brandished what appeared to be a gun and took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash registers. Smith also allegedly showed the store clerks that she had a knife.

Smith was arrested early Saturday morning and allegedly admitted to the crime. Police also said they recovered items Smith allegedly used in the robbery, but did not say what those items were.

Smith is expected to make her initial appearance in court today.
