Woman arrested in connection with armed robbery of adult store

A 35-year-old woman is being held in the Tri-County Jail in Ullin, Ill., after being arrested in connection with an armed robbery of a McClure adult video store.

Employees at the former Brown Bag Video, now called Pop Roxxx, 38957 Illinois Highway 3 in McClure, reported a robbery between 11:45 and 11:50 p.m. Monday.

Alexander County Sheriff Tim Brown said Delora Anderson of Chaffee, Mo., is charged with armed robbery. Brown said the store lost more than $800.

Brown said Anderson was arrested on a traffic stop by Pulaski County sheriff's deputies. He said Anderson had another person in the car with her, but he declined to give other details.

Brown said the investigation is ongoing, and he would have more details Monday. The Pulaski County Sheriff's Department declined to give any information on Anderson's bond or whether any other charges are pending.
